Fall Fun in Palm Beach County: Pumpkin Patches

Fall has arrived, and with it comes pumpkin patches, fall festivals, and October 31st, also known as Halloween for some.  There’s always plenty to do in our area, and this time of year brings even more opportunities to get outdoors and have some family fun.  Here’s a list of some of our favorite area activities!

Bedner’s Fall Festival located at 10066 Lee Road in Boynton Beach is open daily, except Tuesday.  Activities include hayrides, a corn maze, petting zoo, bounce houses, and abundant fall foods.  This festival also offers face painting and local craft vendors and will run weekends from October 1st through October 30th.

Kidfest in Delray Beach is held October 29th from 11:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  Kids of all ages can trick-or-treat, in a safe environment, along the avenue and Pineapple Grove from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. A parade begins at 1:00 p.m., and children are invited to participate by lining up at the SE corner of Old School Square Park.  After the parade, Kidfest offers bounce houses, live entertainment, food vendors, crafts, and more.  Event location is 802 NE 1st Street.

Great Pumpkin Night Out is held October 26th from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Hosted by Trinity United Methodist Church, the event is located at 9625 North Military Trail in Palm Beach Gardens.  Food vendors such as Chick-fil-A, bounce houses, live music and other activities will be offered.

Fall Festival in Palm Beach Gardens is on October 28th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  The event is located at 4404 Burns Road in the Burns Road Recreation Center.  Featured events will be trick-or-treating on the trail, crafts, live music, and many other activities.  Don’t forget your costumes and cameras for plenty of photos opportunities.

Family Fall Festival on October 31st is hosted by Christ Fellowship and located at 5343 Northlake Blvd is a safe alternative for Halloween.  The event will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.  There will be free candy and lots of activities for the kids as well as food for purchase.  For more information, go to www.gochristfellowship.com/fff.
